Purpose of the foundation

The Gnadenhof Luna Foundation aims to promote the interests of disadvantaged animals. This task includes residing and caring for animals that have special needs due to blindness, disability, old age, incontinence, difficult socialization or animals that are in an environment where they can no longer stay for emergency reasons. It enables the animals to have a home beyond human usage. Animals at our sanctuary are neither passed on nor sold. Each animal taken in is entitled to lifelong care and home in the foundation yard. Animals that are born in the foundation yard remain lifelong.
