Creation of the sanctuary
The history of the Gnadenhof Luna can be traced back several decades. It all started with a farm and the love of country life with animals. Little by little, animals from difficult situations came together in our oasis. Sometimes friends could no longer keep their dog due to illness, or the paralyzing show jumper from the neighboring riding stable should be brought to the slaughterhouse. Soon everyone knew about this farm, which offered a place for life to animals in need. Then one day a runaway cow ended up on our pasture. Luna, and with her the sanctuary finally got its name. By the way, Luna has been an integral part of the sanctuary since her successful outbreak.
